Pricing, Ordering, Delivery and Training

We now have 1500 deposits and we are presently no longer taking deposits. We will resume doing so once the prototype is flying, funding is secured and we have a production plan underway. Most likely this will be in the second quarter of 2019.

We are pricing the finished aircraft based upon the total of the wholesale price of parts and labor plus a single mark up. Presently we are projecting this to be somewhere close to $130K

You will be under no obligation to take delivery of your aircraft if you are not ready when your number comes up but you will still retain the 'next in line' status until you are ready. When we begin construction of your air frame 30% of your aircraft price will be due. Once your air frame is complete and is ready for engine, avionics and interior a further 30% will be due. The balance will be due upon delivery of the completed aircraft.

Can I afford a Raptor?

If the price is still a little too much for you then there are other options. You could split it with a friend or even form a flying club and split the cost among 4 or more people. This way your share would only be around $30K. With hourly operating costs of $35 at cruise speed, this is excellent value and the most affordable form of transporting 5 people cross country on your own schedule. You'll never have to take your shoes off and go through a security check again.

Construction of your Raptor

Everyone who purchases an aircraft will be required to spend a 2 or 3 week period at a construction center to perform work on their aircraft in order to fulfill the 51% rule for construction of an experimental kit aircraft. This will allow you to have the Experimental certificate in your name and subsequently be able to perform maintenance on your aircraft. Construction centers may eventually be set up on each of the continents making it easier for this requirement to be met.

Completing your Raptor

Once your airframe is complete it will be transferred to the build completion center for fitment of engine, avionics and interior. Eventually we may be setting up completion centers on all continents to make the completion easier and eliminate the need for ferrying aircraft to new owners.

So now it's ready to fly

Once your aircraft is complete and flying we will pick it up from the build center for you and fly it to your home airport and provide transition training or primary training at a fair rate. We can also fly off the first 40 hours per the experimental requirements or you can do so if you are willing and qualified.

Don't have a pilot's license?

No problem. We will fly your completed Raptor to your nearest airport and then provide an instructor that will take you through your private training and instrument if you require that also (required for flight above FL180). Given that you now have a shiny new Raptor you will just be paying for fuel and the instructor. For most people this will be about 50 hours or about $3500. After that you will take your test (about a $400 fee) and you will then be free to fly.

Want your Raptor yesterday?

So do we. Please tell all your friends about this deal, including those who do not yet have a license as we will sort out pilot training as mentioned above.

What will the finished aircraft include?

Here is a partial list of the components and their normal retail price that will be included in the Raptor. Obviously there are many small ticket items that are not listed here. If you add up the retail cost of the components you will see that the Raptor is excellent value at the $130K price point. Note that we have not listed any labor here but it is included in the $130K price. Simply put, you will be getting the Raptor for half of the retail price and none of the markup that all the other companies include. We want to transform aviation world-wide and we think that an amazing aircraft at a rock bottom price is the best way to achieve this. We can offer this price because we are going to be paying wholesale on these parts and buying them in quantity rather than being forced to pay retail. We'll pass the savings on to you and add one additional mark up in order for us to still make a profit.

The BRS parachute will be an optional extra that normally retails at around $15,000. We will be trying to get it for close to $10,000.
